Mrs Betty Lou Fleming Ms. Betty Lou Fleming, age 78, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at her residence in the Strawberry community of Arab, Alabama. Betty was born June 13, 1944 in Morgan County, Alabama to Frank William Seagroves and Harriet Brown Seagroves. She was married to Wayne L. Fleming who passed away May of 2010. Betty retired from Syncro Cooperation in Arab where she worked on the assembly lines. Betty was of the Baptist faith. She spent her leisure time cooking, playing bingo and doing word search puzzles. She enjoyed her flowers and bird watching but her greatest enjoyment came from her family especially her grandchildren.
Ms. Fleming is survived by her daughters: Rhonda Maze (Junior) of Arab, Rita Richardson (Mark) of South Carolina, and Beverly Harper (Lynn) of Arab; her grandchildren, Jonathan Bates (Candace), Candace Brooke, Corey Bates (Sandy), Alyssa Joiner (Cameron) and Katie Harper; and her great grandchildren, Aiden Corley, Tristen Bates, Emersyn Hadley, Ava Bates, Logan Bates, Nolan Bates, Caydence Joiner, Emery Wisener and Maverick Joiner.
Preceding Ms. Fleming in death are her parents, Frank and Harriet Seagroves and her husband, Wayne Fleming.
Escorting Betty to her final resting place will be Aiden Corley, David Shaver, Glenn Webb, Don Fleming, Taylor Bennefield, and Ray Hallmark.
Ms. Fleming’s visitation will be at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, Arab, Alabama from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2022. The funeral service will be immediately after the visitation beginning at 4:00 p.m. Interment will be in Cullman County at the Warrior Creek Cemetery. Brother Ennis Stone will officiate.
