Funeral services for Mr. Dennis Richardson, age 63, are scheduled for 4 PM, Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Union Hill Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Union Hill Cemetery. Pafford Funeral Home of Lexington is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Richardson passed away early Monday in Lexington. He was born June 25, 1958 in Gary, Indiana to the late Grady Richardson and Mcneva Ponds Creasy. He was a Union Painter with Local 1293 Union and a member of Saltillo Baptist Church. He always worked hard, loved watching racing, and most enjoyed Christmastime. He loved his grandchildren dearly. He was preceded in death by one brother, David Creasy and one sister, Donna K. Ponds. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Mrs. Shelia Wright Richardson; two daughters, Christie Jones (Steven) and Mandy Clenny (Brian); his stepmother, Geraldine Richardson; one brother, Les Richardson; five sisters, Kathy Smith, Debbie Brown (Randy), Denise King, Lisa Wilkerson (Roy), and Sarah Jane Kelly; five grandchildren, Trevor Jones, Raven Allen (Clay), Tristan Jones, Ripken Clenny, and Ridley Clenny; and two great grandchildren, Halston and Mamie Allen. The family will receive friends on Tuesday 1-9 PM and on Wednesday, 9 AM – 4 PM at Union Hill Baptist Church.
