Barbara Gail Slatton, age 74, Haleyville, AL. passed away Sunday June 12, 2022 at her home. She was a member of Ninth Avenue Church of Christ, she belonged to Lydia Ladies Sunday School Class, retired teacher with Winston Co. Board of Education, having taught for 26 years. A member of International Honorary Organization for Women Educators.
Visitation will Wednesday June 15, 2022 from 6:00PM – 9:00PM at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, AL.
Graveside Service will be Thursday June 16, 2022 at 11:00AM in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
She is survived by her children, Dawn Weller (Terry Shaneyfelt), Christy Cagle (Jeff), Scott Slatton (Brooke) and Dr. Holly McCaleb; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hosie and L.V. Cagle; husband, Terry L. Slatton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Jude or the Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Fund.
