Mrs. Hellen Yarbrough Williamson Mrs. Helen Williamson, age 84, of Arab, Alabama, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022. She was born on October 30, 1937 in Marshall County, Alabama to William Curtis Yarbrough and Nora Emerline Latham. Helen was well known at Milner’s Dairy Delight as the cook. She enjoyed doing yard work and gardening, but most of all she enjoyed taking care of the kids.
Mrs. Williamson is survived by her daughter, Teresa Dempsey (Gregg); her grandchildren, Brandon Light (Heidi) and Amanda McDowell (Jordan); her great grandchildren, Jackson Lane and Samuel Jensen; and her siblings, Clinton Yarbrough, Jimmy Yarbrough, Leamon Yarbrough, Betty-Jean Black and Shirley Ann Eubanks.
Preceding Mrs. Williamson in death is her husband, Bill Williamson; her parents, William and Nora Yarbrough; siblings, Elizabeth Widner, Elmer Yarbrough, Wayne Yarbrough, Linton Yarbrough, Buddy Yarbrough, Brenda Bennefield, Lee Thomas, Johnnie Ruth Widner, and J.B. Yarbrough.
A visitation for Mrs. Williamson will be Friday, June 17, 2022 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm with the funeral service immediately afterward. Bro. Randy Blakely will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Light, Jack Light, Blan Milner, Tommy Milner, Larry Coker, and Mike Brown. Honorary pallbearers are Bruce Light and Gregg Dempsey.
