Francis Irene Coffman, 78 of Athens, passed away on Friday, June 10th, 2022, at Hospice Family Care. She was born on February 8th, 1944, to Roland Edward Coffman and Joyce Kemp Coffman.
Ms. Coffman is survived by her sister Mae Peebles; nieces Vicki Baucom, Regina Boyd, Angela Dotson, Renee Gray, Roree Scott, and Joy Biggs; great nieces Holly Jewell, Amber McGuire, Heather Hart, Bethany Gray, Jenna Biggs, Lisa Biggs, and Madison Biggs; great nephews Dylan Baucom, J.B Biggs, Michael Gray, and Jeremiah Scott; great-great nieces and nephew Emma Jewell, Ella Jewell, and Everett Jewell.
Preceded in death by her parents; brother James Coffman; nephew James Eric Coffman.
Funeral services for Ms. Coffman will be Monday, June 13th, at 2:00pm at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday, June 13th, from 12:00-1:45pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Fielding Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Daniel Jewell, Jimmy Baucom, Jonathan McGuire, T.C Hart, Randy Dotson, and Dylan Baucom. Honorary Pallbearers will be Brian Schrimsher.
Ms. Coffman was a lifetime member of Carey Baptist Church.
Ms. Coffman loved taking care of Blackie, her paw baby. She was also an avid quilter and loved flowers.
