Donnabelle Nicodemus Leeth Donnabelle Nicodemus Leeth, age 90 of Albertville passed away Thursday, June 9th at her home.
She was born June 19, 1931 in Rochester, Indiana to Walter and Marjorie May (Penn) Nicodemus. It was no secret that she had a love for reading, television, beautiful flowers and her faithful companion dog, Millie. She previously worked for 25 years at a poultry processing plant until her retirement. She lived and cared for herself into her 90’s till her health started declining. She was cared for by her daughters till the end of days.
She is survived by her son; Rickey Leeth of Crossville, Gleason Leeth of Guntersville, daughters; Sharon (Thomas) Floyd of Guntersville, Charlene (Ray) Riggins of Boaz and Darlene (Jimmy) Buckelew of Albertville, sister; Jeanette Vale of Vacaville, California, eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband; Dennis Edward Leeth, granddaughter; Samantha Pierce, grandson; Trinity Hamilton, three sisters and two brothers.
Her funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Albertville Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Liberty United Baptist Church Cemetery, Aroney. Rev. Doyce Putman will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Thomas Floyd, Jimmy Buckelew, Luke Carmack, Bradley Hooper, Jacob Wilson and Scott Mayes. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 before the service.
In lieu of flowers the family would like memorial donations to Encompass Hospice.
