It is with regret we announce the passing of Mrs. Vivian Johnson Roland, age 73, of Kelso, TN. A funeral service will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 1 pm to 3 pm on Saturday at Higgins.
Mrs. Roland was born June 30, 1948, in Lincoln County, TN to the late Elvin and Delia Mae Tucker. She retired from Fayetteville Parks and Recreation, was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, and enjoyed a simple, quiet life with her family. Vivian passed away June 9, 2022, at her residence.
Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Billy Roland of Fayetteville; daughter, Connie (Gary) Mullins of Kelso; son, Charles (Sarah) Fowler, Jr. of Winchester; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Jones of Florida, Margaret Koonce of Howell Hill, Judy Schmidt of Elora, Martha Medley of Fayetteville, Darlene Allen of Corders Crossroads, and Janice Rebecca Pierce of Corders Crossroads; brothers, Terry Joe Johnson and David Johnson both of Kelso. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Lee Earl Johnson and Elvin Johnson, Jr.; and one great-grandchild.
