 Jimmie Keith Oliver, 61, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Sanctuary Hospice House, Tupelo, MS. He had worked many different jobs and was currently working at Golden Manufacturing. He was a great carpenter and an avid fisherman. He faithfully attended Freedom Baptist Church, where he loved playing his guitar and singing. He had also written several songs. Jimmie was loved by everyone that knew him and will be missed by everyone.

Services will be Thursday, June 9, 10:30 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Scot George, Bro. Billy Nichols and Bro. Cale George officiating. Burial will be in Butler Cemetery, Golden, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by two sisters – Deborah Townsend (Richard) Vina, AL and Pamela Hartman (Greg) Hattiesburg, MS; five nephews, one niece, eight great-nephews, four great-nieces, several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Geneva Oliver and his grandparents, Albert and Lorene Patterson and Jack and Cora Oliver.

His nephews will serve as pallbearers – Bradley Townsend, Brent Townsend, Blake Townsend, Stephen Hartman, Scotty Hartman and Josh Ramsey.

A special thanks to Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, for their love and care during the last couple of weeks.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 8, 5-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
