She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend to many. Her deeply compassionate nature and care for others found her earning her nursing degree in 2014. She practiced at a local nursing home and allergy clinic. Brittney was a member of First Christian Church in Athens, AL.
She is survived by her husband of seven years, but partner of sixteen, Stephen, and their daughter Saylor Grace; mother Katrena and bonus dad Jim Winchester, sister Bailee Pope (John Douglas), bonus sister Tasha Winchester; grandmothers Katherine Hudson and Barbara Pope; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; as well as her beloved feline, Dusty.
She was preceded in death by her father Mark Pope; grandfathers John Hudson and Robert Pope; and uncle Tim Hudson
Funeral services will be Thursday, June 9th, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with Clint Coffey officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 8th, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be John Douglas Mitchell, Eric Gulley, Colby Blankenship, Cole Thornton, Blake Hudson, Josh Hudson, and Dakota Horn. Honorary pallbearer will be Eric Burke. Burial will be at Isom’s Cemetery.
