Gerald Dewayne Crumpton, 54, of Town Creek passed away Thursday, May 26,2022 at UAB Hospital. He was born, August 10, 1967, in Mount Hope to Earnest and Agnes Crumpton. Visitation will be from 1:30 P.M. until 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 29, 2022 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Crumpton worked at Turner Construction for 34 years. He was an avid outdoors-man and hard-worker.

Survivors include his loving wife of 14 years Alicia Crumpton of Town Creek; one son, Shawn Crumpton of Muscle Shoals; two daughters, Katie Inman Crumpton of Sheffield, and Haley Inman Crumpton of Hatton; and four brothers, Larry Hamby of Muscle Shoals, Joel Crumpton of Moulton, Johnny Crumpton of Lawrence County, and Terry Crumpton of Lawrence County; four sisters, Carol Hamby of Cullman, Becky Gray of Cullman, Kathy Leathers of Hayden, and Sheila Ellenburg of Baileyton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother Al Hamby; and two sisters, Sharon Clark, and Judy Faye Crumpton.

Pallbearers will be Terry Crumpton, Joel Crumpton, Christopher Crumpton, Josh, Kyle, Red, Rip, and Bo.
