David J. Foster, 83, died on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at his home. He has lived in Tishomingo, MS for 7 years, before that he lived in Raton, NM. David is survived by one son, Jim Foster (Pam) of Tishomingo, MS; four grandchildren, Adrienne Carter of Tishomingo, Brandon Martin, of Aurora, CO, Phoebe Foster and Madison Foster, both of Arizona. He also has 3 great grandchildren, Lucas Payne, Clark Payne, both of Tishomingo and Gracie Martin of Aurora, CO. David was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Foster, and one son, Robert Foster. David loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, and four wheeling. He was a retired police officer and also retired from driving school buses. He always had a story to tell and a great sense of humor. He also loved going to church and was a faithful Christian. He was a very giving and kind-hearted person. He was loved by so many family and friends. David is being cremated and his funeral will be on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at South Crossroads Baptist Church at 1:00 P.M., officiated by Bro. Mike Neighbors. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the South Crossroads Cemetery Fund.
