Mrs. Minnie Christine Hamlet Rice
March 1, 1924 – May 12, 2022
Mrs. Minnie H. Rice, transitioned to her heavenly home at the age of ninety-eight years old on Thursday May 12, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband of seventy-two years, George E. Rice, Sr., her granddaughter, Georgette Redmond, her parents, Oscar Hamlet and Fannie Pope Hamlet. Mrs. Rice is the mother of Ann Redmond of Toledo, Ohio, George Rice, Jr., of Madison, Alabama, Robert Rice of Parker, Colorado.
The Rice family will receive guests from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at House of Day Funeral Service, Inc. in Toledo, Ohio.
Funeral service will be 12 noon Friday, May 20, 2022 at the United Missionary Baptist Church (2705 Monroe Street Toledo, OH 43606) with Reverend Robert Bass officiating. Interment will be in the Restlawn Memorial Park (3665 Genoa Road, Perrysburg, OH)
