Huntsville Drug Bust; Two Suspects Arrested

HUNTSVILLE-The Madison County Sheriff’s Office issued a statement concerning the arrest of two suspects after the Street Crimes Unit and Madison County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit, along with the SWAT Unit executed a search warrant to an address on Wood Valley Drive:
“On May 13, 2022, the Madison County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit, along with the Street Crimes Unit and SWAT executed a search warrant in the 3100 block of Wood Valley Drive in Huntsville. The search warrant recovered approximately 4 lbs of marijuana, 21 ounces of methamphetamine, 13 grams of cocaine, Oxycodone pills, Ecstasy pills, Adderall pills, $8599 in US Currency, and five (5) firearms.
Curtis and Martez Cawthorn were arrested for Drug Trafficking – Methamphetamine, Drug Trafficking – Marijuana, Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute, and Possession of Controlled Substance. Both suspects were booked into the Madison County Jail and their bond was set at $107,500.
This is an ongoing investigation and additional arrests are expected.”
