Joseph Floyd LeFan, Jr., 90, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away Friday, May 6, 2022 at his home.

Joe was born August 2, 1931 in Lauderdale County, AL.  He grew up in the Killen community and graduated from Lexington High School in 1949.  He serviced in the US Air Force during the Korean War.

He graduated from the University of Alabama with a BS Degree in Accounting.  He retired from NASA in 1994.

Joe was a long-time member at Mayfair Church of Christ where he served as a Deacon.

He was devoted to his family and supported his children in all their activities.

Joe is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, DeLoris LeFan’; sons, Boyd Andre LeFan of Nashville, TN and Bart Ryan LeFan’ of Carmel, IN; and two grandchildren, Parker and Katherine LeFan (Kirsten) of Carmel, IN.

Visitation will be Friday, May 13th from 12:00 – 1:00 PM at Berryhill Funeral Home with service to follow at 1:00.  Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Agape of North Alabama or a charity of choice.
