ATHENS-The Athens Farmers Market had, located at the Farmers Market Pavilion at 409 Green Street W in Athens, a fantastic turnout for the first Tuesday market of the season! In fact, they had to close a few minutes early because  vendors sold out.  a big thank you to all who showed up to support local growers and artisans! See you Tuesday 7:00AM until 1:00PM May through September.

The weather aligned for the market to add delicious strawberries to the market menu last week.   Make sure to swing by this week to grab some fresh strawberries.

Fresh onions are great for all the menus favorite spring recipes. Pick some up this week while shopping at the market this week.

The youngest market patrons love face painting with Beth Haney! She’ll be back this Tuesday for more family fun.
