Agnes “Sue” Sullivan

Mrs. Agnes “Sue” Sullivan, age 78, passed from this life Thursday May 5, 2022 at her home from an extended illness. Sue was born in the Brockdell Community on Christmas Day December 25, 1943 to the late Robert Lee and Bessie Daggett Davis. Sue was a member of Hill Road Baptist Church where she held the position of church secretary for many years. Sue was very active in her church, loved to crochet, bake cakes, loved her flower garden and traveling with her family.  Spending time with her grandchildren was very important to her along with reading her bible, books and watching movies with her loved ones.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Chester Sullivan, brothers; Charles, Robert Lee “Jr.”, Phillip, Robert Davis, sisters; Joyce Davis, Mary Ruth Reed, Annette Lowery, Linda Lawson, Shirley Guy and Barbara Faye Davis.

Sue is survived by her loving family, sons; Steven (Renee) Sullivan of Sparta, Greg (Rhonda) Sullivan of Spencer, Jason (Lori) Sullivan of Sparta, brother; Howard Lee (Donna) Davis of Brockdell, sister; Marie (James) Louallen of Dunlap, grandchildren; Kayla (Chuck) Mitchell, Josh Browning, Toni Sullivan, Caleb (Hannah) Browning, Julie (Chip) Steward, Natalie Smith, Joseph (Savanna) Sachs, John Lacoppola, Jami (Justin) Walker, great-grandchildren; Cade and Colt Mitchell, Susie Steward, Millie Browning, another one on the way, Emmy and Maverick Sachs. A large extended family also survives. Special friend, Bro. Wayne Sullivan pastor at Mooneyham Freewill Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will be held Monday May 9, 2022 at 4:00pm in the Layne Chapel with Bro. Wayne Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow in the Spencer Town Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday May 9th 12 noon till time of service at 4:00pm.

In lieu of flowers the family ask for donations to the Spencer Town Cemetery Trust Fund for the upkeep of the cemetery.
