Betty Jeannette Godwin, 89, of Florence, passed away May 2, 2022. She was a member of Woodmont Baptist Church.
Visitation will Monday, May 9, 2022 at Woodmont Baptist Church Chapel from 1-2 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. Officiating will be Chad Hess. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Godwin was preceded in death by her husband, John Dewitt Godwin; and parents, Richard and Dessie Cornelius, son, John R. Godwin, brothers, James and Larry Cornelius and grandson, Jeremy King.
She is survived by daughter, Karen Godwin King and a son, Jeffery Allen Godwin, grandchildren, Justin W. King of Florence, Austin M. Godwin and Stephanie L. Godwin both of Birmingham, great-grandchilden, Jackson and Savannah Godwin.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
