JT FultonJT Fulton, age 90, of Boaz, Alabama passed peacefully from this life early in the evening on April 22, 2022 in Shepherd’s Cove. He was born in Anniston, Alabama on April 8, 1932 to parents Joseph and Tommie(Petty) Fulton. JT grew up and attended school in Alabama and later on in life
attended college at Snead State College.
As a young man he enlisted in the United States Navy, from which he retired in 1974. He was a Submarine Machinist, and served on many Submarine Tenders.
JT spent most of his Life as a machinist. He loved fishing, wood working, gardening, ceramics and spending time with his family. In 1959 he met the love of his life, Betty J Smith and married within a week! He and Betty traveled where the Navy sent them and in 1964 started a family with Daughter Denise Gormely (Chris) and in 1968 Son Billy Fulton. JT and Betty were married for 62 years.
JT loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandson who affectionately called him Papa ~
Grand Daughter April Crosby (Josh), Grandson Michael Gormely (Tori), Grandson Steven Gormely, Great Grandson Elijah Crosby
JT loved his family very much and was very proud of his children and grandchildren.
JT’s unwavering work ethic and the love of his family will be the legacy he leaves for many generations to come. He was a member of the Church of God and a faithful Christian.
Preceded in death by parents Joseph N and Tommie L Fulton,
Brothers Charles Alexander, Floyd and Loyd Fulton, Fred Champion Jr.. Sisters Lorene Dutton, Dorothy Anderson.
