DHR_Photos_130211_IMG_7136Florence, Alabama – It was an Orange and Blue night at the Shoals Marriott when the Auburn faithful gathered in the Marriott’s Swampers Grill.  One and all had come to hear Mark Murphy, legendary sport prognosticator, scout, and driving force behind the respected publication “Inside the Auburn Tigers” give his assessments and insights to the 2013 recruiting class at Auburn.

Murphy offered up commentary about each of the new Tiger recruits going into details about their backgrounds, strengths, weaknesses and prospective positions they would be competing for.  Murphy’s take on Auburn’s latest class was very positive and thinks that the 2012 recruiting class matches well with new Head Coach Gus Malzahn desire to run more of a hurry up offense.  However, Murphy also reiterated that Coach Malzahn was looking for more physicality, especially on the defensive side of the ball.

According to some sources, the overall rating for the recruiting class is estimated to be at or near the top 10 and the prospects look good for a great 2013 season of Auburn football.
