Avis Marsh Certain, 70, of Owens Cross Roads, Alabama passe away on January 24, 2022.
Avis graduated from New Hope High School in 1969 and later attended Turney Wiggins Cosmetology school. The family wishes to thank the nursing staff of Hospice of North Alabama for their care and also her caregivers Amy, Debbie, Rebecca, Lynn, Olivia and Patty.
She was a member of Big Cove Holiness Church for 47 years.
Avis is survived by sister in laws, Geni Certain, Teri Certain Strickland; several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by husband, Tony Certain; sons, Pete & John Certain; parents, Paul Marsh & Maggie Bunch Marsh; brother, Tim Marsh; sister, Peggy Marsh.
A graveside service will be on Saturday January 29th at 11:00 a.m. at Neal’s Chapel with Edwin Parks and Reverend Mark Warren officiating. Burial will follow after the graveside service at the cemetery.
