Lee Roy Smith, age 95 of Boaz passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at his home.
His funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Albertville Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Beulah Cemetery. Rev. Tony Holcomb will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Clint Smith, Colby Smith, Ladon Smith, Mark Smith, Mike Maughon and Ken Sanders. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 before the service.
He is survived by his son; Dan Smith (Shelia), grandchildren; Clint and Colby Smith, great-grandchildren; Taylor, Emma, Meredith and Rylee Smith, a host of nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law; Jennie Smith and Maybell Smith and special friend; Naomi McGlaughin.
He is preceded in death by his wife; Mardell Smith, son; Lee Smith, parents; Clifford and Mattie Lee Smith and nine brothers and sisters.
