“Banny” Doris Louise (Agaliotis) Bolton

Doris Louise Bolton “Banny” Doris Louise (Agaliotis) Bolton passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022 shortly after 4 pm surrounded by her loving family. Doris was born Sunday, March 12, 1933 to Pete and Mary Edna (Borden) Agaliotis in Russellville, Alabama.

A handsome Navy boy named Owen met Doris and asked her to sweeten his coffee, so she spit in it, and that is the beginning of it all!!

They were married on April 20, 1947 and through their union they had 3 children; Thomas, John, and Rebecca.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 2 brothers, and 1 sister.

She is survived by her children; Thomas and Diana, John and Mary, and Rebecca and Martin, her grandkids; Dee, Bill, Brad, Theresa, Tim, Tracy, Tommi, Mandy, David, and AJ, her great grandkids; Joshua, Hayden, Aaron, Riley, Aubrey, Kinsley, Evie, and Ezra, 1 brother, cousins, nieces, nephews, and various family members.

Her service will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Spry Memorial Chapel and Funeral Home in Russellville, Alabama, with graveside to follow. A memorial service is planned for March 5, 2022 in Lincoln, Nebraska where Doris lived much of her life.
