Pat Stevens Coleman transitioned peacefully to his eternal home on January 18, 2022 after faithfully serving his Lord and Savior for over 50 years.  He was an ordained minister and member and Elder of Father’s House Church. A general of the faith, he loved church, teaching Sunday school, and studying his Bible, reading it through over 50 times in his lifetime.  He enjoyed traveling, taking many trips with his brothers, sisters, and cousins after retirement, always open to planning another getaway.  Pat enjoyed playing games, working puzzles, and being with family was a joy for him, especially in his later years. Pat loved going to the gym, and was a fan of Ole Miss and Alabama football.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Jean Franks Coleman; parents, Carlos Calvin and Ethel Estelle Price Coleman; siblings, Lucia Marie Coleman, Paul Calvin Coleman, Daniel Price Coleman, and Margaret Ann Coleman Thomas.

Surviving him are his children, Regina Armstrong (Steve), Kenny Coleman (Dianne), Cindy Martin (Clyde), Steve Coleman (Jean), and Margaret Brown (Roger); his grandchildren Jessica Scott (David), Jeremy Brown, Bethany Brown (Timmy Thigpen), Chris Coleman (Katie), and LesLee Gavin (Damien); 11 great grandchildren; his sisters, Sharon Coleman Reed (Bobby) and Maggie Coleman Smith, and numerous nieces and nephews.
