Funeral services for Dorothy Pendergrass Perry, age 94, are scheduled for 1 PM, Friday, January 14, 2022 at Wildersville Church of Christ. Interment will follow in Parkers Crossroads Cemetery. Pafford Funeral Home of Lexington is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Perry passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, in Wildersville. She was born December 13, 1927 in Henderson County to the late Jerry Pendergrass and Ethel Coffman Pendergrass. She was retired from Lexington Metal/Johnson Controls and a member of Wildersville Church of Christ. She loved her children, grandchildren, her many nieces and nephews, and her church family. She loved chocolate and ice cream which she never hesitated to share with family and friends. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined, when most would have broken, she was resilient. She never hesitated to tell those around her how much she loved them. Her prayer was that everyone put God first and love one another. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Howell and Loyd Ryan Pendergrass and three sisters, Clara McKee, Mary Patterson, and Edna Peterson. Survivors include her son, Daniel Perry (Susan); her daughter, Emily Sikes; and six grandchildren, Jill, Matt, Casey, Clayton, Bradley, and Natalie. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10 AM – 1 PM at Wildersville Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Wildersville Church of Christ.
