Dorothy Fay Hamm, age 68, of Florence, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2013. Her family will receive friends Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, 6-8 p.m., at Morrison Funeral Home of Tuscumbia. Her funeral service will be Monday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Billy Leeth officiating. Burial will follow in Crooked Oak Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Fay Batrum; and sisters, Betty Conley, Ann Denton and Anna Conley.
Survivors include her sons, Curtis Patterson, of Webster, Fla., James Arlin Hamm and James O’neal Hamm, both of Florence; daughter, Teresa King, of Florence; brother, Jim Conley; sisters, Judy Hamm and Donna Nix; grandchildren, Jennifer King, Kayla Patterson, Mark Patterson, Kaitlin Hamm, Samantha King; and special niece, Emma Hamm.
Pallbearers are Randy King, Randy Nix, Doc Jr. Hamm and Bryan Vandiver.
Morrison Funeral Home of Tuscumbia is directing.
