Funeral for Morris Marcus Smith, age 77, Town Creek, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Elliott Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bertis Ray officiating. Burial will be at Herring Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, 1-2 p.m., at the funeral home.
Mr. Smith, who died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at Eliza Coffee Hospital, was born April 29, 1935, in Town Creek to Bill and Bertha Smith.
Mr. Smith formerly worked at Tony Moore Buick and Charlie’s Body Shop in Moulton.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Lacie Smith; one son, Mark Smith and wife, Sheila; one daughter, Sherry Lynn Casteel and husband, Michael; one brother, Kennith Smith; four sisters, Elaine Clayton, Mildred Smith, Lois Coburn and Janice Greene; three grandchildren, Jennifer Terlizzi, Christopher Casteel and Boylee Smith.
Pallbearers will be Lanny Yancey, Jay Lewis, Lamar Lewis, Michael Terlizzi, Bob Moore and Terry Pearson.
