FLORENCE-On Saturday, December 11th, Kaytrina P. Simmons invites everyone to a drive-through meal at the Handy Recreation Center on Beale Street in Florence. The hours are 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. This is a special holiday luncheon where Pampers will also be distributed to anyone in need.
Ms. Simmons, District 1 representative for Florence, has personally coordinated these holiday meals for the past four years in order to serve not just those in her district, but the entire city of Florence. District 1 covers much of West Florence and a large swath of North Florence.
