Judy Fancher McCreary, 77, passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021 at Sanctuary Hospice, Tupelo, MS. She was born in Corinth, MS and taught first grade for over forty years. Judy was a member of Belmont United Methodist Church.

Services will be Saturday, November 27, 2 p.m. at Belmont United Methodist Church with Bro. Dallas Culver, Bro. Jerry Ginn and Bro. Mark Nail officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Red Bay, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by two daughters – Lisa Stockton (Mike) and Lauren Sparks; six grandchildren – Philden Stockton (Leigh Anne), Greta Weatherford (Clay), Brooks McCreary, Alex Sparks (Bailey), Kirk Sparks and their father, Greg Sparks and Beth McCreary; six great-grandchildren – Olivia Stockton, Presley Stockton, Cruze Weatherford, Carter Weatherford, Kyson Sparks and Saylor; her twin brother – Jerry Fancher (Judy) and special friend and caregiver, LaVaughn Overton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Mary Pauline White Fancher and a son, Phil McCreary.

Pallbearers will be Michael Fancher, Micky Holloman, Richard Babb, Joe Yarber, Robert Cashion and Dicky Sparks. Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Twitty and Tommy Clark.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to LeBonheur Children’s Hospital at www.lebonheur.org or Belmont United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 516, Belmont, MS 38827.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 27, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Belmont United Methodist Church.
