Estelle “NeNe” Lloyd

Estelle “NeNe” Lloyd was born on March 7, 1928, to the late Mr. Oscar Meredith, Sr., and Mrs. Sarah Freeman Meredith.  She confessed hope and faith in Christ at an early age and joined St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Tuscumbia, Alabama.  She was a faithful and active member of the church and Mother’s Board until her health began to fail.

She worked as a LPN at Helen Keller Memorial Hospital for 30 years.   After her retirement, she worked as a substitute teacher and a Colbert County Poll Worker.

She was preceded in death by Ollie “Mack” Lloyd, her devoted husband of 56 years, her oldest son, Michael Darnell Lloyd, Five Sisters, and Six Brothers.

She leaves to cherish her memories , her faithful, and devoted son, Kenneth Lloyd, Sr. (Tammie), Clinton, MD; two sisters in law: Ora K. Meredith, Florence, AL; Betty McCord, Flint, MI; six grandchildren: Tamara Dale (Vergil), Tuscumbia, AL; Katrina King (Preston), Tuscumbia, AL; Kenneth Lloyd, Jr. (Silvia), Crestview, FL; Micaela Jones (Marquitus), Madison, AL; Christopher Lloyd, Clinton, MD; Brent Lloyd, Tuscumbia, AL; three great-great grandchildren: Chase, Calil, and Calia Coonrod, Leighton, AL; nine great- grandchildren: Tiara Dale, Leighton, AL; Trenisha King, Tuscumbia, AL; Taneisha Dale, Madison, AL; Roderick King, Tuscumbia, AL; Kyla Lloyd, Crestview, FL; Isaiah Lloyd, Rockledge, FL; Tamyra Dale, Tuscumbia, AL; Evan Gunn, Madison, AL; and Donovan Lloyd, Crestview, FL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
