FLORENCE-The Florence Police Department issued the following statement regarding a stabbing incident that too place over the weekend. The suspect in the stabbing has been arrested:
“On October 17th, at approximately 5:13AM, Officers responded to 745 Meridian Street Apartments, to a domestic call involving a knife.
Officers located a male who had been stabbed in the arm. The male was transported to NAMC where he underwent surgery. After an investigation, Katie Ann Finch was arrested for Domestic Violence Assault in the second degree. Both Finch and the victim have been in a dating relationship for many years.
The victim’s injuries are non-life threatening. Finch was incarcerated on a $30,000 bond which has been revoked. She is being held at the Lauderdale County Detention Center. ”
