Gracie Violet Riddle, age 91, of Summertown, TN passed away Saturday, October 09, 2021, at her residence. She was a native of Lewis County, TN, retired from Mt. Pleasant Mfg., and loved to quilt and sew.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Esther Zimmerman; her husband, Thomas P. Riddle; four sisters; two brothers; one son, Amos Riddle; two grandchildren, Travis Riddle and Joey Stutts; and one great-grandchild, Carson Brewer.
She is survived by two sons, Tommy Riddle (Georgia) of Ethridge, TN and Harold Riddle (Linda) of Summertown, TN; one daughter, Mickey Stutts (Bill) of Lawrenceburg, TN; one step-daughter, Nancy Steadman (Donnie) of Summertown, TN; twenty-two grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Thursday, October 21, 2021. Interment will follow at Wyrick-Zimmerman Cemetery in Lewis County, TN.
