Christopher Wayne Morgan, 55, of Crane Hill, passed from this life on October 11, 2021 at his residence. A memorial service will be Saturday, October 16, 2021, 10:30am at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Westover, AL (Old Hwy 280).

Mr. Morgan was born June 3, 1966 to Sanford Erskine & Ruth Ann Herrick Morgan. He loved his family, grandkids, his dog River, his horses Lone Star and Dakota. Mr. Morgan served as a police officer in Shelby County and for the city of Helena for 17 years. He loved the lake and driving his big diesel truck. His favorite song was The Sound of Silence.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Ann Morgan; one sister; and his dog River.
Mr. Morgan is survived by his father, Sanford Erskine Morgan; his soulmate, Debbi Warren; two sons, Austin (Krystain) Morgan and Chase (Alyssa) Morgan; two brothers; two sisters; grandchildren, River Morgan and Wynter Morgan; his favorite nephew, Jeremy (Jennifer) Chance and their children, Halie and James; and a host of family and friends.
