Doris Christian Wallace, 84, of Moulton passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at NHC Healthcare. A graveside service is planned for 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Moulton Memory Gardens with O.D. Bowling officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home assisting the family. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens.
Born January 22, 1937 in Moulton, Alabama to William and Kathleen White Christian, Doris was a graduate of Hatton High School. She was a member of Moulton Church of Christ, where she retired as secretary in 2019.
Doris was also retired from Joe Wheeler EMC and First Federal Credit Union.
Survivors include her children, Tammy Wallace and Teddy Wallace, her grandchildren, Guthrie Wallace (Angel), John Fennel (Dania), Dylan Wallace (Kerri Lynn), Hunter Fennel (Alexandria) and Radney Wallace (Alex), six great grandchildren, Eliza, Charlie, Harper, Hadley, William and Jade and her siblings, Vaudry Rucker, Joyce Mullican, Jean Masterson (Luther) and Kelley Christian.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Kathleen Christian, her husband, Alton Ray Wallace, two brothers, Norman Christian and Joe Christian.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society or Moulton Church of Christ.
