Angela Goff Dobson, 53 years of age, lost her battle with pancreatic cancer on Thursday, September 16, 2021, in Lexington, TN. She was born on April 15, 1968 in Lexington, TN to Linda Herndon Goff and the late Joe Presley Goff. She was an RN at Houston County Community Hospital in Erin, TN before it became too difficult for her to work. She was a nurse for 24 years.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Presley Goff, and her grandparents, Johnnie Sue Biggs and Alton Herndon, Sr., and Nadine Hendrix Goff and Joe Watson Goff. Survivors include her mother, Linda Herndon Goff; one daughter, Brittney Dyess Mills (Michael); one brother, Marty Goff (Mary Beth); one grandson, Ethan Mills; and many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Angela loved God, her family, her church, and her friends. She was an active member of The Temple in Scotts Hill, TN for many years. In fact, she was reading the Bible when she died. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandson, Ethan, who was her pride and joy. She touched the lives of so many people around her. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and nurse who will be greatly missed. Visitation will be Monday, 3-8 PM and on Tuesday 9-11 AM at Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM, Tuesday, September 21, 2021 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with Bro. Tommy Rushing officiating. She will be buried in Henderson County Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Rex Herndon, Jerry Herndon, Andy Richardson, Greg Richardson, Michael Wilson, and Joseph Clark
