Carl Alexander, 73, of Double Springs entered into rest on Friday, September 10, 2021 at the VA Hospital.

Mr. Alexander was born September 4, 1948. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 12pm-2pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, where the service will begin at 2pm.  Brother Johnny Gunter will officiate.   Burial will follow in Williams Cemetery in Black Pond.

Carl is survived by his children, Carolyn (Tim) Robertson,  Mike (Lynda) Piercy, Nancy Spivey and James Piercy; grandchildren, Jessica Layne Shaddix, John Michael Piercy, Jennifer Piercy, Marlee Piercy, Alan McCarter, Tommy McCarter, Josh Spivey, Cassie Piercy Card and Carter Piercy; great grandchildren, Alex Shaddix, Emmaly Shaddix and a host of many more; brother, Larry (Karen) Alexander, Rose (Ronald) Curtis and Carylon (Elmer) Kratz and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Alexander; father, Chester Alexander; mother, Flora Mae Beste; sisters, Imogene McCullar and Helen Rigsby and brothers, Charles Alexander and Seven Alexander.
