Marjorie Hazel Gates, age 89, of Ardmore, Tennessee, passed away Monday, September 13, 2021. She was born February 28,1932 in West, Mississippi to Ben and Lorene Thweatt Hathcock.
Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents, husband Byron Gates, stepson Hershell Gates, grandson Jody Armstrong and brothers Roy and Mark Hathcock.
Left to cherish her memories are her son Kevan Haley (Rene), loving grandchildren: Christy (Haz), Alicia (Jeremy) and Daniel, and her great grandchildren: Dylan, Gage, Haley, Madelyn, Maddie, Chance, Taylor, Alex, Brey and Lexie.
Marjorie was a member of Wheelerton Baptist Church and had a passion for gardening.
There will be a graveside service Wednesday, September 15,2021 at 1:00PM at Gatlin Cemetery. Brother Paul Mason and Brother Owen Lewter will be officiating.
