Graveside services for Mr. Milburn Hoover Rice, age 89, will be held at 10 am Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at the Center Baptist Church Cemetery with Joey Hufstedler officiating. Visitation will be at the cemetery 30 minutes before the start of the service.
Mr. Rice passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. He was a member of the Poplar Grove Baptist Church in Brazil, TN for 65 years and also served as a Deacon, a retired farmer, and retired from Trenton Livestock Sales Company in Trenton. Mr. Rice served in the United States Army from 1954 until 1956.
Mr. Rice was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Lenora Tyner Rice; his parents, R. E. and Lillian Rice; and a brother, Thomas W. Rice.
Mr. Rice is survived by a son, Keith Rice of Milan, TN; and a granddaughter, Heather Rice of Milan, TN.
Pallbearers will be Timothy Ingram, Robert McDainels, Don Thompson, George Casey, Austin Tyner, and Charles Tyner. Honorary Pallbearers will be Butch and Joe Bunch.
