Rev. Rayford Morland HanveyReverend Rayford Morland Hanvey of Arab, Alabama; passed away at Marshall Medical Center North on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at the age of 81 years.
Reverend Hanvey was born on October 1, 1939 to the late William Albert Hanvey and Thelma Holloway Hanvey. He is the current pastor at Brindlee Mountain Church of God.
Reverend Hanvey is survived by his daughters, Glenda Stanley (Troy), Debbie Sypher (Ken), Teresa Trent; grandchildren, Amber Saylor (Scott), Ashley Gronczniak (Jason), Tiffany Lashley (Trey), Jessica Stanley, Haley Seely (Ethan), Debbie Shrontz (Josh); great grandchildren, Hunter Gronczniak, Kayden Gronczniak, Karli Gronczniak, Olivia Saylor, Jude Shrontz, Dallas Seely.
In addition to his parents, Reverend Hanvey is preceded in death by his wife, Corinth Ann Hanvey; son, Johnny Parrish; son in law, Steve Trent.
A private family graveside service will be held on Friday at the Arab Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers escorting Reverend Hanvey will be Jason Gronczniak, Trey Lashley, Hunter Gronczniak, Scott Saylor, Josh Shrontz, Ethan Seely, and Troy Stanley.
