Barbara Joan Couch Hall

Barbara Joan Couch Hall passed away September  10, 2021 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Barbara was born on May 16, 1936 in Arab, Alabama.  She was the youngest child of Claude and Elizabeth Couch.

 

Barbara was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who always took care of her family and put everyone else first.  She enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking, quilting, and sewing.   She was a member of Berlin Baptist Church.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant child; all of her siblings; Hollis Couch, Joe Couch, Paul Couch, Kate Martin, Laura Clark, Lois Daugette, Ethel Clark, and Fay Bagwell Carter.

 

Barbara is survived by her husband of 64 years, Millard Hall: her children Barry Hall and Karen (Randy) Sparks She leaves behind five grandchildren; Chelsea (Jacob) Wood, Whitney (Jeremy) Franks, Bryant Sparks, Kristen Sparks, and Ramey Hall.  She leaves behind her four great-grandchildren; Addie Wood, Elvie Wood, Emmett Franks, and Ellis Franks and a host of nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Monday, September 13th, 2021 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Welti Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery, Rev. Lynn Perkins and Rev. Jimmy Peyton officiating.  Visitation will be Sunday evening at the funeral home from 6:30 – 8 p.m.
