  Carl Ray Naylor, 88, of Moulton passed away Friday, September 10, 2021 at NHC of Moulton. Visitation will be from 1 till 2 pm on Monday, September 13 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 pm at the funeral home with Larry Terry officiating. Burial will be in Rutherford Cemetery. The family requests that all who attend please wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Born on June 22, 1933 to the late Miles and Nellie Ledlow Naylor, Carl was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He worked as a plumber along with his son, Ronnie, at Naylor Plumbing and also worked at FoodLand of Moulton.

Survivors include his son, Ronnie Naylor (Tanyal); daughters, Sandra K. Strickland (Jerry), Janet Wild, and Paula Rich (James); grandsons, Josh and Joe Naylor, Spencer Rich and Morgan Wild; granddaughters, Lorie Franks, and Leah Strickland; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Skyler, Alexis, Denver, and Lilly; great-great grandchildren, Bryson, Baylon, and Brynnex; brothers, Marshall Naylor, Hoyte Naylor, Roger Dale Naylor, and Wendell Naylor; sisters, Mary Spillers, and Margaret Jackson; and several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Carl was preceded in death by his wife, Mavis I. Borden Naylor.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

The family extends special thanks to Carl’s nurses and the staff at NHC of Moulton and his hospice nurses with Comfort Care.
