Joanne Dooley Reynolds Joanne Dooley Reynolds of Huntsville went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, after a long battle with cancer. She faced cancer like all of the challenges in her life; with elegance, courage, and grace. She touched so many lives in so many ways with her presence in the church, her dedication to rescuing and finding homes for hundreds of animals, and her enthusiasm as a surrogate mom, aunt, grandmother, and friend. We are hard pressed to articulate all of the good she did, or the lives she affected.

Survivors include husband, Thomas E. Reynolds; children, Jeremiah Reynolds, Matthew Reynolds, Amy Hinote (Clinton), and Amber Reynolds; grandchildren, Caden and Eli Hinote; parents, Tillman and Josephine Dooley; brothers, Tim Dooley (Alesia) and Joe Dooley; sister, Karen Skoglund (Robert); and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. with a rosary at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, September 12th, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, Sept. 13th, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Father Michael Mac Mahon officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
