Elmo “Bo” Luffman, age 93, of Loretto, TN passed away Monday, September 06, 2021, at his residence. He was a native of Five Points, TN, former manager at Minnie Pearl’s Restaurant, and of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Luffman retired from the U.S. Army where he served his country honorably during the Korean Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Ernest and Glaydis Sabrina Cox Luffman; two sisters, Ann Terrell and Parlene Dixon; and one brother-in-law, Jack Haddock.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Vanderford Luffman; two children, Paige McGee (Danny) and Bobby Luffman (Debbie); five grandchildren, Trevor McGee, Savannah McGee, Jeff Luffman (Amanda), Crystal Settle (Brad Erwin), and Nathanial Luffman; seven great-grandchildren, Kinsley, Kye, Ty, Cade, Raegan, Aubrey, and Brinn; six siblings, Elena Glover, Jean Haddock, Ann Terrell, Tene Williams (Roy), Comer Luffman (Sylvia), and Genny Small (James); one brother-in-law, Bill Dixon; aunts, uncles, and cousins. Those serving as pallbearers will be Trevor McGee, Kye Luffman, Ty Luffman, Cade Luffman, Jason Tucker, and Jeff Luffman.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM Sunday, September 12, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens with full military honors at 1:00 PM Sunday, September 12, 2021, with Steve Seaton officiating.
