Mamie Carolyne Langley, age 79 of Arley, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at her residence.
She was born January 24, 1942 to Cecil Jacques and Mamie Geeters-Jacques in Birmingham, Alabama. Mamie proudly served her country in the United States Air Force from 1977-1997.
Visitation will be on Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, Alabama. A Graveside service will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Lees Chapel Cemetery in Remlap, Alabama. Brother Steton Hayes will officiate.
Mamie is survived by her husband, Arlen Lee Langley; daughters, Julie Langley and Amy Langley Hiller; son, Michael (Rhonda) Langley; grandchildren, Sean (Ellie) Hiller, Kimberly Hiller, Lori (Jason) Bowling, Jamey Hamby, Kaydi (Trystan) Woodard, and Noah Langley; sisters, Brenda Jacques and Rita Jacques; brother, Garrie Jacques; sister-in-law, Myra Langley; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Cecil Jacques; mother, Mamie Jacques; and daughters, Lori Ann Langley, and Suzette Leigh Langley.
Pallbearers will be Michael Langley, Sean Hiller, Noah Langley, Trystan Woodard, Jason Bowling, and Austin Bowling.
