Leroy Estes Reynolds, age 74, of Russellville, passed away on Saturday, September 04, 2021 at Helen Keller Hospital.
Leroy was a member of Tharptown Fire Department. He worked for years as an electrician and later then as a guard at Tharptown School. He was a hardworking man, always willing to do anything or give the shirt off of his back to help someone. He loved Nascar, dirt track racing, demolition derbies and had won several trophies over the years in racing. He loved hunting and fishing. He was a very dedicated husband, father, and grandfather and he leaves very big shoes to fill. He made an impact in every life he met.
A celebration of life service will be held honoring Leroy from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2021at Tharptown Fire Department. Speaker will be Terry Hall. We hope you come and share your memories with us.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 54 years, Shirley Bills Reynolds; children, Michael Reynolds (Marie), Steve Reynolds (Jennifer), Sherry Hargett, Pamela Reynolds; grandchildren, Rose Wagner, Dominique Reynolds, Jessica Jones, Crystal Leverett, Davina Minzey, Destiney Hargett, Madison Minzey, Mackenzie Reynolds, Abigail Reynolds, Dylan Reynolds; great-grandchildren, Jason Bouck, Baylee Leverett, Nevaeh Copeland, Elenor Leverett, Cooper Copeland, Kylie Wagner, Jasmine Minzey, Damion Posey; sisters, Aletha Thornburg, Dora Reynolds; and several nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Loyes & Makel (Nonnenmacher) Reynolds; brother, Lyonial Reynolds; and mother-in-law, Marian Slavens.
