Graveside funeral service for Mrs. Barbara Jean Norris Rowland, age 82, of Huntsville, AL, will be held at 10 AM on Monday, September 6, 2021, at Campbell Cemetery, with Bro. James Strope officiating. There will be no visitation prior to the graveside service.
Barbara was born on July 26, 1939, in Fayetteville, TN to the late William Roy and Annie Mildred Hayne Norris. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Mrs. Rowland passed away on September 2, 2021.
Survivors include her daughters, Cindy Lee of Merritt Island, FL, and Pam (Bill) Melvin of Huntsville, AL; sisters, Juanita (Gene) Dunn, and Geraldine (Clarence) Bain; grandchildren, Miles Melvin, Holly Melvin, Maria Melvin, Jodie Lookenbill, and Lee Lookenbill. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Rowland; brothers, Melvin Norris, Robert Norris, and Lloyd Norris; and sisters, Wilma Keith, and Nancy Burton.
