Wayman Thomas Potter, 82, of Moulton passed away Friday, September 3, 2021 at His residence. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM till 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Lawrence Funeral Home with the service following in the chapel at 2:00 PM with Bro. Neil Carter officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens.

Wayman was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He loved farming, gardening, coaching girls softball, watching westerns, eating, spending time with his family and especially loved Alabama Football. One of his favorite things to do was talk about Jesus.

Survivors include his daughters, Shelia Montgomery (Steve) and Shelly Potter (Scott Smith); two grandchildren, Chase Montgomery (Dayna) and Chance Montgomery (Lindsey); four great grandchildren, Riley, Alayna, Jeremiah and Sutton Montgomery.

He was preceded in death by his wife of sixty years, MaeFean Horton Potter; his parents, W.T. and Velma Potter; and one brother, Leoma Potter (Earline).

Pallbearers will be Chase Montgomery, Chance Montgomery, Riley Montgomery, Steven Horton, Terry Lee Horton and Bordrie Shields.

The family extends special thanks to Southern Care New Beacon Hospice and his special care givers.
