FLORENCE-The Florence Police Department released a statement concerning the murder that took place on Monday, August 30. A suspect has been arrested in the murder of Miquel Adame:
“On August 30, 2021, Miquel Adame was shot and killed at Quail Run Apartments in Florence.
After an in-depth investigation, this evening Wednesday, September 1, a juvenile was arrested and charged with his murder.
We would like to thank ALEA and the Florence-Lauderdale County SWAT Team for their help in apprehending the juvenile without further incident. The juvenile was charged with capital murder and will be confined at the Tennessee Valley Juvenile Detention Center.
The juvenile is considered innocent until proven guilty*
