Ruth L. Smith Nix, age 82, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Friday, August 27, 2021 at NMMC-Tupelo. She was born in Guin, Alabama on Friday, February 03, 1939 to Grover and Rosa Smith.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, September 01, 2021 at Hope Alive Worship Center. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor John Holiday officiating and burial at Liberty Cemetery in Guin, Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Huston Ray Nix; daughter, Genita Brusati; parents, Grover and Rosa Smith; and six siblings.
She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Karen Harris (husband, Shane), Phil Nix wife, Belinda); grandchildren, David Nix, Ryan Nix ( wife, Ashley), Michelle Reaves (husband, Jason), Gina Brusati; great-grandchildren, Karly Sutton, Joshua Brusati (wife, Chasidy), Tristan, Gideon Brasati, Eric, Kyle Reaves, Gauge, Morrison, Trevor Morrison; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
