Ruben Cruz Quiroz, age 53 of Athens, passed away Friday August 27, 2021, at his home.
Visitation will be Saturday August 28, 2021, at McConnell Funeral Home from 6pm until 8pm. Funeral services will be Sunday August 29, 2021, at 1pm in the chapel, with Bro. Doug Colwell officiating. Interment will follow at Fielding Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jesus Ramos, Francisco Perez, Alex Quiroz, Joey Moss, Michael Cox, Ramon Quiroz, and Jose Quiroz. Honorary pallbearers will be Zyan Caldwell, Jackson Brown.
Mr. Quiroz is survived by his wife, Veronica Quiroz; son, Shannon Brown (Bridgett); daughters, Rosa Martin (Michael), and Ashley Brown (Derricke); brothers, Primo Quiroz (Carmen), Ramiro Quiroz (Margarita), Ramon Quiroz, and Pino Quiroz (Mely); sisters, Maya Quiroz (Valdo), and Beatris Ramos (Jesus); grandchildren, Jackson Brown, Cooper Brown, Emery Brown, Zyan Caldwell, Zayden Caldwell, and Lilly Quiroz; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Luciano and Luciana Quiroz.
