Laura Pendleton Deputy, age 92, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away August 26th, 2021. Laura was born December 7th,1928 in Madison, Indiana to Robert and Sarah Daniel Pendleton.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband John Robert Deputy, two brothers and one sister.
Left to cherish her memories are her sons: John Robert Deputy Jr. (Kathy) and Dale Lee Deputy (Dawn), her daughter Cassandra Gail Weissend (Sid). She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Mandi Yarbrough, Stephanie McKenzie, Jonathan Weissend, Brian Weissend, John Robert Deputy III and 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, September 3, 2021 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home. Service will be Saturday, September 4th, 2021 at 1:00pm with Brother Cale Yarbrough and Brother Derrick Moose officiating. Pallbearers will be John Robert Deputy III, Jonathan Weissend, Brian Weissend, Stephen McKenzie, Sloan Yarbrough and Jeff Webster. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that people please make donations to Hospice Family Care in Huntsville or to Cash Point Baptist Church.
